No, it certainly wasn't :D There was a little bump just outside our place when we had that car, and my sister and I used to fly about two inches off the Leatherette seat (en français c'est du Skaï) :P
I did some research about CPR, and in some cases it's not vital (when you're keeping the blood flowing in the organism waiting for help; in this case, however, I screwed up a little bit, because since Len wasn't breathing mouth-to-mouth would actually have been needed. I decided to stick with the comics approach to medicine :D)
Also, JAPD? Heh, I'm too old to have gone through that one :P My 4-year-younger sister did, though, and since she didn't flip the page over and only did half the multiple question paper, she went home all relaxed and certain the army wouldn't want her :D
