So I got this idea running around in my head making silly (and possibly rude) gestures for about ten minutes and I didn't know what I could do with it - so I went to Ivy and turned the prompt into a challenge.

(Mick and Len. Locked in an air-tight room (meat freezer, working or not? :P). No romance. They don’t have to talk about world-shattering events or make significant confessions, but there’s a song in it. Possibly silly guys stuff as well – and they look/sound both serious and silly to us readers.

And when things look pretty hopeless, in waltz Big!Damn!Heroes! Piper and Trickster :D If this happens during Hartley’, James’ and Mick’s stint with the FBI (as opposed to in the DCAU, for instance) it could raise some interesting questions as to exactly why Cold and Heat Wave have managed not to kill each other by now :D)

Just a ficlet that trotted around in my head on the bus; I tried to make it DCU, but ended up in the DCAU anyway. Totally unrelated to the challenge Ivy and I have going on – I just wanted to have my little fun. Because I like poking fun at Copperhead any way I can, and I don’t even know why. And also because the Monty Python gang was awesome all around, both in comedy and in real life. Every single one of them.

Len's Everybody Goes To Harry's chapter is being a bast.... a bit of a pain, so I thought I could take a break from writing and doodle a bit :D Liabrown posted a link to her (Con sketches) Rogues Gallery :P and I pretty much fell in love with this picture of Mick and Len arm-wrestling/agreeing on something (... holding hands? Nah :P) and decided to try my hand at it. Complicated (at least for me) picture, and Mick's posture came out a bit weird because he's almost facing where he should be three-quarters or in profile, but the inking isn't too shabby. I can't draw hardcore tough guys, so they both came out looking a bit... softer than the original, I guess.

And thinking about the Master (the Doctor Who villain, who does this Crazy Awesome and Hilarious... stuff) and was thinking how awesome it would be to have a little cartoon where the Joker goes through all this stuff Tex Avery-style and came up with this doodle.

Did another little Tiny Titans Rogues pastiche - it's a one-page little thing featuring penguins, because there's an early Tiny Titans issue where there's a bunch of them all over the Batcave, and later there's something about Robin being constantly followed by... robins. Anyway, came up with this. Right-click and "Display picture" time again :o)

Decided to post my beta-read fics here too :o)

Everybody Comes To Harry's is a new story I'm working on - a series of stories, rather, Rogues-related, that begin/end/take place at Harry's (the Unflappable Barkeep :D) To think that that pub only has a name in my mind because of the bad guy's bar in Watchmen being called "Happy Harry"... :o) But there'll be more nods to Casablanca than to Watchmen. I think :P I mean, the title is one (Everybody Comes To Rick's was the title of the original play the film was based on).

This one's the first chapter, and basically it's the very beginning of what will be the Rogues. Wally - Flash - is still a kid (of around 16) and Captain Cold has been around for maybe a couple of months.
