belphegor1982Len's Everybody Goes To Harry's chapter is being a bast.... a bit of a pain, so I thought I could take a break from writing and doodle a bit :D Liabrown posted a link to her (Con sketches) Rogues Gallery :P and I pretty much fell in love with this picture of Mick and Len arm-wrestling/agreeing on something (... holding hands? Nah :P) and decided to try my hand at it. Complicated (at least for me) picture, and Mick's posture came out a bit weird because he's almost facing where he should be three-quarters or in profile, but the inking isn't too shabby. I can't draw hardcore tough guys, so they both came out looking a bit... softer than the original, I guess.

(Pantxika is my real first name, BTW. It's Basque, and the "x" is pronounced "sh".)
Also, today on the bus I was listening to the Scissor Sisters' I Can't Decide:
Oh I could throw you in the lake
Or feed you poisoned birthday cake
I wont deny I'm gonna miss you when you're gone
Oh I could bury you alive
But you might crawl out with a knife
And kill me when I'm sleeping
That's why
I can't decide
Whether you should live or die...
And thinking about the Master (the Doctor Who villain, who does this Crazy Awesome and Hilarious... stuff) and was thinking how awesome it would be to have a little cartoon where the Joker goes through all this stuff Tex Avery-style and came up with this doodle.
On the bus. Hence the crappy sketchy vibe.
He's drowning someone (probably tied to a giant anvil) on the Gotham docks in the middle of the night, so of course he's dressed like an early 20th century bather complete with flippers and a lacy parasol. I can also see him cheerfully whistling this song while digging Bats' grave... I had to get off the bus before I got to doing a pic of him smiling insanely (well, duh) and handing over a giant, lethal-lookin' birthday cake.
Honestly, this guy is so much fun

Date: 2010-04-01 10:43 am (UTC)It's kinda symbolic, really, when you think about it - these two guys are the backbone of the Rogues, and the most different and antagonistic in every aspect possible - it's logical that they should be arm-wrestling... but in a fairly friendly way :o)
