Empowered

Okay, this time I did a real (though quick) drawing of Empowered, and since I actually used reference it's much closer to the original. I bloody love that comic, the humour shone even translated (pretty good translation, actually) into French :o)




The blacks on the costume just look weird, but it's the closest I could go - the costume's actually pretty dark but glistens (it's really a "hypermembrane", hence the high wear and tear risk :P) and it's a quickie and anyway I'm not that talented :D

Go check the comics, they're hilarious and actually pretty sweet sometimes - like the title character :o]

Thanks :o) Adam Warren's art is a very manga/animé style, but the story is definitely super-hero comics. One of these days I'll really work on a drawing that shows Emp's costume. That's what she looks like on a good day ( http://i41.tinypic.com/23ssrwl.jpg - the other superheroes have just discovered the coughshorrorjoyscoughs of slash fanfiction :D); unfortunately, this ( http://i48.tinypic.com/w02jwz.png ) is what generally happens to her. Poor sweet thing :D
